My name is Miranda Elissa...

I'm 16 years old and currently reside in the beautiful Bay Area, California. I am an aspiring blogger, self-proclaimed thrift junkie, collector of all things and future paleontologist. My time is most often spent watching The Office on-demand, leafing through post-yard sale remains, and acquiring things that I plan to someday restore/ repair and reuse. 

Other hobbies include...

I love to find treasure: fossils, gems, bottles... anything! If it's old and worn, I'll think it's perfect. I have a tendency to end up with collections without any intention of doing so (miniature dinosaurs, piggy banks, copper gelatin molds, old keys, crosses, etc.) Travel is a huge part of my life; I've been all over the United States (41 states and counting!) and spent two months living in Panama. I'm an avid reader, and am in the process of illustrating a children's book. 

Meet the family...

Roomba Jean // My b a b y. She was adopted from the ASPCA and given to me as a Christmas gift in 2006. For some reason I thought I was being given a Roomba vacuum for Christmas and my mom went a long with it. When I got a cat instead, the name just stuck. Isn't she just so cuddly looking? Hehehe... :)

Tallulah Jane // Technically she's my mom's cat, but I love her just the same. Tallulah's a Maine Coon with a personality that's just as big as she is.

Aldous Snow // Yes. She is named after Aldous Snow (aka Russel Brand) from Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek. We really loved the movies, okay? Aldous is the newest addition to the family and the first dog I've ever had. She's oh-so-sweet and loves to gives besos.
